Our latest release features Admin Console improvements in the People page and Work Bundles editor. We've also updated the Platform side menu and introduced a new AI-enabled document search, that supports multiple languages.
FIXES
Platform menu: Interface update
On smaller devices, the main TRACC Platform menu occasionally overlapped the Assess and Plan pages. The menu now automatically minimises on smaller screens.
IMPROVEMENTS
Admin Console: Update of email field
We've merged the e-mail address and email domain fields into a single e-mail field, making it easier to quickly set up users. User setup is still restricted to only approved e-mail domains for your organization.
Work Bundles: Setting up per instance
For organizations with multiple instances of the TRACC Platform, such as a Production and Training Platform, Work Bundles are now set up independently per instance. This ensures that when you set up Work Bundles, you only select actions from TRACCs you are subscribed to in each instance.
Document Search: Multi-language search support
TRACC resources (workshop PowerPoint files, Excel Files, Word documents) are translated into multiple languages. For each resource, a language code is used at the end of the file name to ensure that you locate the appropriate resources in your logged-in language.
For example, when you are logged in to the Platform in Spanish, the Spanish resources will be available in the Document search results and within the Resources tab in the TRACC Reader. In this case the language code 'es' ensures that Spanish documents are returned in the search results.
While the content of the resources is translated, the file names are not. Previously, this made it difficult for users to search for TRACC resources using their preferred language.
The Platform now uses the AWS translate service to translate the title for each translated resource and this translation is added to the document metadata to enable users to search for resources in their own language.
Now when you are logged in to the Platform in your chosen language, you can enter search terms in that language and the search results will include the correct resources.
Please note that the auto-translated metadata used for the search may not align precisely with the translated material within the resource.
