When implementing TRACC, you are required to respond 'Yes' or 'No' to a set of criteria statements, to identify gaps and areas of improvement. This is determined in the Assessments.
Any criteria where gaps are identified (i.e. 'No' responses), go into the Plan. These criteria are associated with actions that should be completed to close that gap.
When assigning tasks, users can mark Plan Tasks as N/A (not applicable) if:
- the activity need not be implemented
- your organisation has other ways of implementing the action
- you might want to implement it at a later stage
When Plan Tasks are marked as N/A, the suggested route is to mark the associated assessment criteria with a 'Yes' response. This is to allow for progress in maturity, instead of leaving it blank or responding 'No', which could negatively affect the maturity rating.
Note:
- We are looking to implement a prompt in the system for users to answer 'Yes' to criteria for actions marked as N/A.
- When Plan Tasks are marked as N/A, it will display the NA tag on the action card in the Plan.
- Only certain roles will have permissions to mark tasks as N/A.
