In the V8 TRACC Platform, there has been a fundamental change in the way practice maturity targets are set. Targets are now established using the implementation plan and not the TRACC assessment.
Targets in V7 TRACC Platform
Previously, practice maturity targets were set by creating a Target Assessment in the assessment view.
However, the risk was that questions might be marked "yes" without consideration for the implementation actions and the planned sequence of events. As a result, the actions might take much longer to complete than planned. This meant that the targets might not be realistic or unattainable in the agreed time-frame.
Targets in the V8 TRACC Platform
Therefore, in the V8 TRACC Platform, target maturity scores are established by creating a realistic plan for the agreed time-frame.
Once the assessment is complete, the Implementation Task Force (ITF) needs to:
- set up the implementation plan for their area
- assign tasks to the ITF members
- select realistic target dates to complete these activities
This will then convert into a Target Line on the practice graph on the Assess tab which shows how the maturity will change over time as the plan is implemented.
