Historically, the Leading and Managing Change (LMC) TRACC included a number of Human Capital elements. However, when this was the case, the Human Capital (HC) TRACC did not exist.
With the V7 Content upgrade, the core HC elements have been transferred to the HC TRACC, while the LMC TRACC retains only those elements specifically required for managing the change process effectively. Knowledge Management has moved from HC to LMC.
What has been transferred to the HC TRACC?
The detailed guidance on implementing the following has moved to the HC TRACC:
- Organizational Design
- Communication
- People Development
- Performance management
- Reward and recognition.
What has been retained in the LMC TRACC?
LMC focuses on the set of activities required to make immediate changes, to get the change process off the ground. For example:
- Assess Communication Effectiveness (2IA11) focuses on monitoring the effectiveness of communication processes to support the change process.
- Align Organizational Culture (2IA12) which considers the organizational dimensions, structures, systems, and processes needed to support the change vision.
- Monitor Quick Wins (2IA13) calls for the celebration and recognition of successful projects and initiatives. Where successes have been achieved, relevant employees must be recognized and, where appropriate, rewarded.
