This article is an extension of What is a Calibration Assessment?
Step 1
In the Assess section, click the View History button of the TRACC you would like to calibrate an assessment for.
Step 2
Click on the rubber stamp icon for the latest verified assessment in the assessment history. Note that any previously verified assessments will have a greyed out icon with a tooltip (hovering comment) explaining why.
Step 3
The assessment opens indicating that you are now calibrating a specific verified assessment. Verified responses are automatically highlighted (any other latest responses are hidden). If the verified responses are not displaying, you can toggle the View Verified Responses option to view the responses.
In this case, the calibrator can:
- Confirm the existing verified response (meaning they just confirm what's there)
- Change a Yes to a No
- Change a No to a Yes
- Add a comment (comment to be associated with the calibration)
The calibrated assessment will automatically save (similar to how an ad-hoc assessment automatically saves).
Additional notes
1. When you go back to the assessment history, the calibration will be listed with the date that you completed the calibration, along with its maturity. The maturity will be that of the verified assessment you calibrated, with any changes you made taken into account.
2. Once you have calibrated the latest verified assessment, the rubber stamp icon should be replaced with an edit button so that you can edit the calibrated assessment. Hovering over the edit icon will bring up a tooltip indicating that you can continue editing the Calibration assessment.
3. If you delete the Verified assessment that you calibrated, both the Verified and Calibration assessments will be deleted. You will receive a pop up message asking you to confirm your deletion.
4. Ideally, at some point the team needs to view the calibration and discuss. Click on the eye icon to view historical responses.
- The calibration can be edited if no subsequent Verified assessments are available - in that case, the responses can be modified as per Step 2 (green Yes and red No).
- If a subsequent Verified assessment exists, the calibrated responses are can be viewed below and can be compared to the Verified responses you calibrated.
-
- An Excel export is then available, showing the responses and comments captured in the calibration, compared to the verified assessment.
5. A calibration Assessment does not affect the Plan.
