How do I add an area to the Area Tree?

Areas can be added to the Area Tree via the Admin Console.

Step 1

Go to the Areas page and click the expand icon for your organization.

Step 2

Expand the Area Tree on the left and click on the area that you would like to add an area to. Then click on the ellipsis at the top right corner. A menu will appear with various options regarding the area and instance. 

Step 3

Select the 'Add area' option from the menu and enter a name for your area. Then click Create.

Step 4

Select the relevant entity toggle and click Save. Your new area will now appear under the area that you created it under.

Note: Licensed entities will appear in blue and Structural entities will appear in green.
