This article outlines the following detail in terms of Work Bundle progress functionality:
- How the Work Bundle maturity and progress are calculated in the Assessor and Planner.
- How practices included in a Work Bundle are allocated to an area.
Work bundle progress can be measured in two ways:
- Assessment progress - you can measure a relative bundle 'maturity' for the practices in the bundle, or track the percentage completion of assessment criteria in the bundle.
- Plan progress - you can track the progress of action item completion, in the implementation plan.
Assessment progress
When a work bundle is applied, the Platform displays:
- a relative Bundle Maturity in the assessment page
- the Overall Progress for all assessment criteria
- the number of criteria completed in the TRACC 'theme'.
The assessment progress reflects the practices being assessed, or set as recommended practices, in the area.
The Bundle Maturity may resemble TRACC maturity, but due to the unpredictable number of actions assigned to a bundle, it should not be confused with a true TRACC maturity. It is simply a measure on a scale of 1-5, showing progress for the practices being implemented in an area.
How practices included in a work bundle, are applied in an area (Admin Console)
Consider the following work bundle, which includes three TRACCs (Asset Care, User Driven Maintenance and Focused Improvement) , one of which (Asset Care) has Stage 2 and Stage 3 actions included:
Scenario 1: all the practices referenced in the bundle are being assessed in an area.
If all the practices are already being assessed in the area, and are verified, they will all be included in the work bundle assessment view. Each TRACC in the work bundle is represented as a theme in the assessment, with relevant stages unlocked in the stage and the navigator. The bundle maturity and percentage progress reflect all TRACCs in the work bundle.
Scenario 2: only some practices in the work bundle are being assessed in an area.
The bundle maturity and percentage progress reflect only the TRACCs being assessed in the area. Those not assessed in the area are not displayed in the assessment view.
Scenario 3: Some practices in the work bundle are being assessed, with others not yet assessed, but set as recommended TRACCs.
With the Area Category functionality, administrators can associate TRACCs with an area, so that they appear as recommended TRACCs, even though they are not yet assessed.
When you apply the work bundle, the assessment screen will show the bundle practices being assessed, as well as those set as recommended practices in the area. The bundle maturity and percentage progress in this example reflects all TRACCs in the work bundle.
