Assigned Tasks are process steps that have been assigned to users from the Plan page in the V8 TRACC Platform. Once assigned, these tasks will appear as a summary on the assignees Dashboard as well as on the assignees Tasks page under Assigned Tasks. It is the assignees duty to accept or decline the task and then action accordingly.
Acknowledgement of Assigned Tasks
Step 1
You can access your assigned tasks by clicking on the task while viewing your Dashboard, or by going to the Tasks page .
Step 2
Click on the expand icon to view all the details related to the task that you have been assigned.
If you are aware of the tasks and don't need to review the details, you can click Accept or Decline in the task summary block.
Alternatively, after reviewing the task details, scroll to the bottom of the task and and click on Accept if you are willing and able to complete the task. Click Decline if you are unable to complete the task.
If you Accept the Task, a pop-up will appear to confirm that you are willing to accept the task.
When you click Accept, the task will move into your 'In Progress Tasks' list.
If you choose to decline the task, a pop-up will appear to confirm that you want to decline the task. When you click Decline, the task will now be removed from your Assigned Tasks list and the person that assigned the task to you will be notified that you have declined the task.
