When assigning an 'As Required Task' in the Leader Standard Work (LSW) application, you will need to select a Resource Contact Person as the assignee.
Note that there are two ways to add a Resource Contact Person:
- via the Task Library
- via the Resources page
1. Adding resource contacts via the Task Library
Step 1
Go to the Task Library.
Step 2
Click on the Add Tasks button.
Or, edit an existing task by clicking on the Edit button.
Step 3
Click on the 'Link Resource' section.
Step 4
Click on the Add new resource option.
Step 5
Enter the resource details and note that the resource contact is added in the Resource contact field. Also note that resource contacts need to have a role for the area where the resource or task is being added - this is selected using the 'area tree' drop-down option.
Once the resource contact has been added and saved, you should be able to select them as an assignee for the relevant 'As Required Task'.
2. Adding a resource contact via the Resources page
Step 1
Click on the Resources menu.
Step 2
Click on the Add resource button.
Step 3
Enter the resource details and note that the resource contact is added in the Resource contact field. Also note that resource contacts need to have a role for the area where the resource or task is being added - this is selected using the 'area tree' drop-down option.
Once the resource contact has been added and saved, you should be able to select them as an assignee for the relevant 'As Required Task'.
