As Required Tasks can be created by any role in the Leader Standard Work (LSW) application, however, an 'As Required Task Template' needs to be created by an administrator first. This can be done via the Task Library, following the steps below.
Step 1
Navigate to the Task Library.
Step 2
Click on the Add tasks button.
Step 3
Select As Required from the Recurrence frequency drop-down menu and complete the other fields pertaining to the task.
Once the required task template has been created in the Task Library, users can follow the steps below to officially create the required task and assign it to an individual.
Step 4
Select the Tasks menu.
Step 5
Click on the add (+) icon at the bottom right of the screen.
Step 6
Select an Assignee (resource contact person).

Select the area.
Step 8
Select the applicable task that was created in the task template.
Step 9
Insert a Start Date.
Step 10
Insert a Due Date.
Step 11
Click on the Create As Required Task button.
The task will now be added to the assignee’s task list.
