When exporting a plan to Excel, it is possible that not all Stop and Thinks (STs) or Implementation Actions (IAs) get exported. This could be due to the Target Stage for specific STs or IAs being changed.
Target Stage changes
Take a look at the Plan and determine if the missing STs or IAs appear in the correct sequence. In the screenshot below 3ST4 and 3ST5 are not in the correct sequence. This is due to their individual Target Stages being changed to stage 4.
This means that those activities now belong to stage 4 and not stage 3. If their target stage is supposed to be stage 4 that is fine, but if you want them as part of stage 3 you will need to update the target stage to be stage 3 again.
Note:
- There are two 'Target Stage' options on the Plan:
-
- The Target Stage for the TRACC (top arrow) will allow the Plan to only display activities until the stage selected.
- The Target Stage for individual STs or IAs (bottom arrow) will change the stage the activity belongs to.
- When exporting a plan, because the TRACC's Target Stage is set to 3, the exported plan only lists activities until stage 3. Since the individual Target Stages for 3ST4 and 3ST5 are set to stage 4, they do not appear in the export.
- If the TRACC Target Stage is set to 3 and the export Plan Items Stage is set to 4, it will only export activities until stage 3. Ensure that the TRACC Target Stage as well as the Plan Items Stage are set to 4. Then the export will contain all activities until stage 4.
There are two options to resolve this:
Option 1
Change the Target Stages for the individual STs and IAs (3ST4, 3ST5, etc.) to be stage 3 and then export the Plan until stage 3.
Option 2
Leave the individual STs and IAs (3ST4, 3ST5 etc.) Target Stage at 4, but change the Plan's TRACC Target Stage to be 4; and then when exporting the plan, export it until stage 4. The exported plan will then list all the STs and IAs.
