Pop-ups configuration
You will need to allow TRACC Platform to use pop-ups in each browser that you intend to use to access the TRACC Platform.
Microsoft Edge
Unfortunately, you can’t add exceptions for pop-up blocking in Edge, so you will need to allow pop-ups for all sites. To ensure that Edge allows TRACC Platform to use pop-up windows, please do the following:
Step 1
Open Edge’s main menu (…) and click on Settings.
Step 2
Scroll down and click on the View advanced settings button.
Step 3
Ensure that that Block pop-ups toggle is off. Then close the main menu.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
To ensure that Internet Explorer allows TRACC Platform to use pop-up windows, please do the following:
Step 1
In IE, select Internet options from the Tools menu.
Step 2
In the Internet Options dialog box, select the Privacy tab. In the Pop-up Blocker section, click the Settings button.
Step 3
The Pop-up Blocker Settings dialog box opens. Enter the domain name of the TRACC Platform server in the Addresses of websites to allow field, then click the Add button.
Note: Do not include ‘http:’ or ‘www’ when entering the domain name.
Step 4
Click the Close button to close the Pop-up Blocker Settings dialog box, and then click the Okay button to return to the browser.
Google Chrome
To ensure that Chrome allows TRACC Platform to use pop-up windows, please do the following:
Step 1
Open Chrome’s settings menu and click Settings.
Step 2
Scroll to the bottom of the window and click Show advanced settings…
Step 3
Under the Privacy section, click the Content Settings button.
Step 4
Scroll down to the Pop-ups section. Click the Do not allow any site to show pop-ups option, and then click the Manage exceptions button.
Step 5
In the Pop-up exceptions dialogue, type in *.traccsolution.com in the Hostname pattern box, and set the behaviour to Allow.
Step 6
Click Done, and then click Done again at the bottom of the Content Settings window. You can then close the Settings tab.
Mozilla Firefox
To ensure that Firefox allows TRACC Platform to use pop-up windows, please do the following:
Step 1
Open Firefox’s settings menu and click Options.
Step 2
Click on the Content tab in the left navigation menu. Ensure that the Block pop-up windows option is checked, and then click on the *Exceptions* button.
Step 3
In the Allowed Sites – Pop-ups dialogue, type in *.traccsolution.com in the Address of website box. Click Save Changes to close.
Step 4
Close the Options tab in Firefox to finish.
OSX Safari
Unfortunately, you can’t add exceptions for pop-up blocking in Safari, so you will need to allow pop-ups for all sites. To ensure that Safari allows TRACC Platform to use pop-up windows, please do the following:
Step 1
Open Safari’s main menu and ensure that the Block Pop-up Windows item is unchecked.
